Who We Were
A taste of the country
Country Boys Cooking earned its place the honest way — one generous plate and one friendly visit at a time. Set on Story Mill Road in Keysville, in the heart of east-central Georgia, it became a destination for folks craving real Southern country cooking and barbecue. People drove in from around Keysville and the greater Augusta area, drawn by the slow-cooked meats, the down-home sides, and the warm, unhurried welcome.
It was the kind of place that reminded you good food doesn't need to be fancy — just made with care and served with heart. For everyone who shared a meal there, it remains a happy memory of Southern hospitality.
